My drawings are realistic but contemplative in the real sense of the word: separating a part of the material world from his surroundings. Often I use seemingly unimportant details, giving them their own felicity of expression, and stressing the tension between body and fabric. I make a choice of (own) pictures and clippings, and use them as a reference, separating them from their context. I mainly work in charcoal, pastel and conté.
